​Twenty years ago, the Council for Canadian Urbanism met in Ottawa to advance the national conversation on urban design by exploring the proximity, the mix, and the commons that can make Canadian cities work. This fall, facing new challenges and equipped with new energy, the Council returns to Ottawa to host Capitalizing Design: three days of collaboration, learning, and candid conversations.
