About the Presenter: Pamela Conrad
Pamela Conrad, PLA, ASLA, LEED AP is a landscape architect and founder of the non-profit organization, Climate Positive Design. She teaches at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and advocates for implementing low-carbon, Nature-based Solutions that support healthy communities and ecosystems.
She is the inaugural American Society of Landscape Architects Biodiversity and Climate Fellow, Architecture 2030 Senior Fellow, International Federation of Landscape Architects Climate and Biodiversity Working Group Vice-Chair, and ’23 Landscape Architecture Foundation Fellow. Pamela also serves as an expert advisor to the World Economic Forum Nature-Positive Cities Task Force and Carbon Leadership Forum ECHO Steering Committee.
Conrad’s 20-year career has focused on transforming the exterior built and natural environment. In 2019 she launched the Climate Positive Design Challenge and Pathfinder app as a global call to improve climate and biodiversity impacts. Her work has been featured widely, including UN climate conferences, and received numerous awards.
