How you'll make a difference:

  • Lead high-profile landscape architecture projects, ensuring innovative, sustainable design solutions that respond to our clients' needs.
  • Drive project implementation from conceptual design to construction documentation and administration, maintaining high standards of design excellence, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and strengthen client relationships, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including proposal writing and presentations, to help secure new projects and opportunities.
  • Uphold and promote our commitment to community wellbeing and environmental responsibility in every aspect of our work.
  • Ensure building regulations and other legal requirements are met and monitor quality assurance, costs, and deadlines throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide oversight, management, and execution of the preparation of project working drawings
  • Prepare design drawings from concept through to contract documents, tender, and contract administration services
  • Complete Schematic Design and Design Development including the development and preparation of plans for Development Permit Applications and associated approvals
  • Prepare of 3D concept renderings and diagrams
  • Explore innovative design solutions as part of the creative process within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team dynamic
  • Ongoing development of expertise in technical detailing

Who you are:

  • A professional degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA or MLA required).
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Eligible for registration with BCSLA  or equivalent license.
  • Strong visual and graphic communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing complex projects and teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage client relationships.
  • User of Civil 3D, Revit and Rhino
  • A commitment to professional development and community involvement.

$96,000 - $124,000 a year
