Landscape Construction Administrator/Project Manager/Technician
We are looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Administrator/Project Manager/Technician to take on responsibility for site review and contract administration for medium to large scale municipal projects which follow a stringent contract administration process. You will report to a Partner and work closely with the landscape and architecture teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manages projects through contract documentation and contract administration phases.
- Guides junior staff in the creation of technical drawings and specifications.
- Coordinates sub-consultants to ensure cohesive and clear project contract documents.
- Coordinates with contractors through construction to ensure adherence to the contract documents and a high level of execution.
- Interacts with clients and contractors.
- Works collaboratively and communicates with Partners and other team members.
- Other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Min 7 to 10+ years professional office experience.
- Demonstrated technical document experience for large to medium-scale landscape projects.
- Experience with coordination of engineering and other consultants.
- Experienced in CCDC contracts and construction administration both on-site and in-office (administrative functions).
- Familiarity with local building codes and authority approval processes.
- Depth of knowledge on soil, drainage, and grading, and other technical landscape issues.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Possesses a high level of spoken and written English.
- Comfortable working on a Mac platform and proficient with MS Office, CAD and BIM softwares. Knowledge of Vectorworks considered an asset.
- Enthusiastic about landscape architecture, architecture, and design.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Drivers license ideal.
Term: Permanent/full time. Required immediately.
Salary: Based on experience.
