EDA commenced work on this exciting project in August 2010. The study area is a 6 kilometre section of Yonge Street in the southern portion of York Region and tranverses 3 local municipalities. This high profile project includes extensive background research and site inventory / analysis, developing a vision statement and design principles, detailed design guidelines / standards, conceptual designs for key nodes and intersections, final streetscape master plan, and a full implementation strategy.
